GitLab & GitHub : merging users

Bonjour,

Contrary to what I said to @misc yesterday, there is no way to merge two accounts into one, in GitHub or GitLab

I’m sure I saw something about transfering ownership of an account to someone else in GitHub (it seemed to be exclusively in case the person is deceased). Maybe my confusion comes from the fact that Discourse has that feature:

As a user, you can switch to a org account. For example, I can become “Gluster” since that’s a github org.

I also remember a announce on “machine user”, but it was likely renamed as I can’t find much about it.
